"Go down the Ace for a cppa!"
"Okay then."
So off we went down the M1 on a sunny friday to Rockers Mecca, the Ace Cafe.
It's hard to believe that with all my years in the saddle I've never been so when Pete suggested a run dowm both Steve and myself were up for it.
Easy to find on the North Circular road, even if you miss the slip road you can loop back at the roundabout (oops).
Quite a few bikes outside even on a 'working' day, with some very nice machinery on display.
Although the idea was just to have brew and head back we ended up stopping for three or four hours looking at bikes and chatting with folks outside the cafe. If we'd have planned better we could have stopped over for Rockers weekend with live bands and a run to Brighton. Still, after a great afternoon we headed home with definite inentions to return.
